CEEE Energy Saving Tips
From the Center for Energy & Environmental Education at the University
of Northern Iowa, Pat Higby delivers a series of programs on KUNI to
help you save energy, heard each Sunday during Weekend Edition.
Pat Higby is the Energy Educator at the CEEE. She
has taught general education classes for the UNI physics department for
many years, including an Activity Based Physical Science class in CEEE.
Her work includes both formal and informal experiences. Pat began
teaching science and math in rural and urban high schools. She has also
been Science Educator for the Science Imaginarium in Waterloo, Iowa and
Education Coordinator at the UNI Museums. She is currently involved in
the Iowa Electrathon, Middle School
Electric Car Essay Contest, Traveling Energy Art Gallery, and Rebuild
Iowa/Conservation City.
